In World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever), Stamina gives 10 health per point, Intellect gives 15 mana per point, Strength and Agility add attack power, and Spirit speeds health and mana regeneration while you are out of combat or not casting, according to Warcraft Tavern's Forever stats guide. Armor and Defense then decide how much damage reaches you.

What do Strength, Agility, Stamina and Intellect do?

Strength is the fighter's stat. Warcraft Tavern says it adds melee attack power (2 per point for Warriors, Paladins, Shamans and Druids, 1 for all others) and, for Warriors, Paladins and Shamans, 1 Block Value per 20 points. Agility adds attack power for the classes that use it, armor for everyone, and crit and dodge chance.

Stamina and Intellect are the vessels. Stamina is health, 10 per point, and Intellect is mana, 15 per point. Intellect also adds a small spell crit chance for casters. The Stamina and Intellect conversions match two Classic-era guides, Blizzard Watch (June 17, 2019) and RankedBoost (modified June 26, 2026), which describe WoW Classic.

What does Spirit do in WoW Forever?

According to Warcraft Tavern, Spirit increases health and mana regeneration while you are out of combat or not casting, and it notes that every healer specialization has a talent for some mana regeneration in combat. For how the pause after casting works, see the five-second rule.

Blizzard Watch's Classic guide says mana regeneration begins after five seconds without casting and that each class uses its own formula. Those formulas were not confirmed for Forever, so this page gives none.

How do armor, Defense and hit chance work?

Armor reduces damage taken, capped at 75 percent. Defense raises dodge, block and parry and lowers the chance to be hit and critically hit. Warcraft Tavern says 440 Defense makes you uncrittable by raid bosses, which is the number tanks aim for. Blizzard Watch's Classic guide gives 0.04% per point for each Defense effect.

Warcraft Tavern gives the hit tables: melee attacks miss 5% of the time against an equal-level target and 9% against raid bosses; spells miss 3% and 16%. Resistances come in five schools (Arcane, Fire, Frost, Nature, Shadow) and cap at 75% damage reduction, which Warcraft Tavern puts at 315 Resistance against raid bosses. What is not confirmed yet

  • Warcraft Tavern's stats guide shows no publication date and reflects beta data, so numbers may change at launch.
  • Warcraft Tavern says it is unknown whether the innate 1% miss chance remains in Forever.
  • Haste was unavailable on beta gear; the guide says it will be revisited later.
  • A Blizzard beta known-issues thread (original post of September 17, 2026) says the Glancing Blow chances displayed on the character sheet are not accurate (work in progress).
  • Warcraft Tavern gives dodge as 1% per 14.5 Agility for Rogues, 1% per 26 for Hunters and 1% per 20 for all other classes. RankedBoost's Classic guide lists the Rogue and Hunter figures, but I found no second source for the 1% per 20 figure, so treat it as unconfirmed.
  • Spell coefficients are cited by Warcraft Tavern as roughly 80 to 100 percent for direct long casts and about 15 percent for instants and area spells; no second source was opened.
