WoW Forever Darkshore New Quests: The Seven Added Quests and What They Pay
ForeverChanges lists seven new Darkshore quests in World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever), all Alliance: WANTED: Jai'vhanel, Business in Auberdine, It's All Fun and Games Until..., Making Do, Swelling Forces, Baron Marinous and Holy Diver, at quest levels 13 to 21. The same page tags eight more entries as changed. It is the only source I found that lists the new ones, and it does not show quest givers or locations.
Quick answer: The new Darkshore quests are Alliance quests at levels 13, 17, 20 and 21, with rewards that include a Swordfeather Cloak, a Shipwright's Satchel, a Mathystra Channeling Orb and a Draught of Water Breathing. Treat the list as beta data for build 1.60.1.70658 until a second source agrees.
The list below gives each new quest's level, required level, XP and rewards exactly as ForeverChanges shows them, plus the entries it tags as changed.
Key facts
- New quests: 7, all listed as Alliance (ForeverChanges).
- Changed quests: 8 entries tagged Changed, by our count (the page gives no total), with the change itself not described (ForeverChanges).
- Data version: Beta build 1.60.1.70658; the page marks its Changes, Talents, Spells and Races sections updated on October 28 (ForeverChanges).
- Highest new quest: Baron Marinous, level 21, requires level 17, 2,050 XP (ForeverChanges).
- Coverage elsewhere: in the part of Warcraft Wiki's Darkshore quest list that I could read, none of the seven appear; the page was cut off before its end (Warcraft Wiki).
Which Darkshore quests are new in WoW Forever?
According to ForeverChanges, the seven new quests are:
- WANTED: Jai'vhanel: level 13, requires level 10, 1,150 XP, reward Swordfeather Cloak.
- Business in Auberdine: level 17, requires level 13, no XP or reward listed.
- It's All Fun and Games Until...: level 17, requires level 12, 1,250 XP.
- Making Do: level 17, requires level 13, 130 XP, reward Shipwright's Satchel.
- Swelling Forces: level 20, requires level 12, 1,550 XP.
- Baron Marinous: level 21, requires level 17, 2,050 XP, rewards Mathystra Channeling Orb and Onu's Patience.
- Holy Diver: level 20, requires level 15, no XP listed, rewards Draught of Water Breathing and Swim Speed Potion.
ForeverChanges describes these as new in Forever. It does not name the NPC who gives each quest or where it starts, so check your quest log in Darkshore rather than trusting a location from this list.
Which Darkshore quests changed?
ForeverChanges tags eight entries as changed but does not say what changed. They are two entries for Onu is Meditating (level 11, reward Phial of Scrying), Deep Ocean, Vast Sea (Alliance, level 17, requires level 13, 1,250 XP), Beached Sea Turtle (level 19), The Sleeper Has Awakened (level 20, requires level 17, 1,550 XP), The Absent Minded Prospector (level 24) and two entries for The Tower of Althalaxx (level 31).
Warcraft Wiki, which documents the older game, lists two of these. Deep Ocean, Vast Sea is an Alliance level 17 quest from Gorbold Steelhand in Auberdine, and Onu is meditating starts with Onu at the Grove of the Ancients. Warcraft Wiki gives Onu's quest a level of 17, while ForeverChanges lists level 11; the two pages differ. I did not find a page that says how Forever changed either quest.
How reliable is the list?
ForeverChanges says its Classic quests come from a reconstruction of the 1.12 world, and that XP values are Forever's own for gold-XP quests and Classic otherwise until beta shows differently. Its Darkshore page counts 80 quests in all. Because the page is one source, the safe reading is that these seven are what the beta data contains on October 28, 2026.
What is not confirmed yet
No second source I opened lists the seven new quests. The part of Warcraft Wiki's Darkshore list that I could read shows none of them, but the page was cut off before its end. Quest givers, locations, objectives and the content of the changes are not shown. The Lore Forever add-on is a free download. For how quest levels and the log work, see the quests and quest log guide. The nearby zone is covered in the Ashenvale guide.
