Twilight Shore (Darkshore)

The Twilight Shore is a rugged stretch of coast in southern Darkshore, running south from the Long Wash down to the border of Ashenvale. Its gloomy, mist-laden beaches are interrupted by jutting sea cliffs, offshore islets, and treacherous surf. The area is infested with aggressive murloc tribes and ravenous aquatic predators like threshadons.

Stretching south of the Long Wash past the ruins of Ameth'Aran toward Ashenvale, the Twilight Shore is among the most rugged and inhospitable parts of Darkshore's coastline. Gray sand gives way to sharp, wave-battered cliffs and scattered rocky islands. The waters here are notoriously hostile; swimming off the coast invites attacks from territorial threshadons and sea crawlers, while the beaches themselves are dominated by thriving camps of aggressive murlocs.
