Thistlefur Village

Thistlefur Village is a sprawling settlement tucked into the forest north of Astranaar in west-central Ashenvale. It serves as the primary home of the Thistlefur furbolg tribe, who have fallen prey to dark corruption and violently assault any outsiders venturing near their dens.

Situated just north of the night elf haven of Astranaar, Thistlefur Village was once part of the peaceful woodland communities native to Ashenvale. However, the malignant corruption that has seeped into the ancient forests has entirely claimed the Thistlefur tribe. Now thoroughly maddened and intensely hostile, the furbolgs fiercely guard the paths winding through their settlement. The clan answers to two exceptionally ferocious chieftains, Dal Bloodclaw and Rorgish Jowl, whose unyielding aggression poses a constant threat to travelers and nearby settlements.
