Thistlefur Hold

Thistlefur Hold is a cavernous den carved into northern Thistlefur Village in west-central Ashenvale. Once peaceful bears of the forest, the Thistlefur furbolgs residing here have succumbed to corruption and turn violent toward any outsider who draws near.

Tucked into the northern reaches of Thistlefur Village, Thistlefur Hold serves as the heart of the Thistlefur tribe's territory. The furbolgs here were driven mad after coming into possession of the Idol of Remulos, falling into a state of feral hostility that makes them dangerous to travelers and neighbors alike. Deep within the winding caverns, the tribe hordes scavenged relics—including troll charms of interest to the Darkspear—and keeps captives bound in wooden cages, such as the imprisoned tauren brave Ruul Snowhoof.
