Stratholme Service Entrance
The Stratholme Service Entrance is a fortified rear gateway located at Eastwall Gate in the northern Eastern Plaguelands. It provides direct, covert access into the Scourge-controlled eastern quarter of the burning city, bypassing the grand front gates.
A Breached Bastion
While the monumental Main Gate of Stratholme opens into King's Square and provides a route toward the Scarlet Bastion, the Service Entrance breaches the city's eastern fortification at Eastwall Gate. Today, it leads directly into the corrupted heart of the metropolis: Elders' Square and the blighted pathways leading toward Baron Rivendare's slaughterhouses.
The Scourge Redoubt
Venturing through the service portal offers a shorter approach to the Scourge's eastern districts. The surrounding alleys crawl with gargoyles, crypt fiends, and cultists guarding the dread ziggurats. For the Argent Dawn and daring adventurers seeking to strike at the ruling death knight directly, this hidden iron gate serves as the primary staging point for surgical strikes against the Lich King's commanders.
