Stonewatch Tower

Stonewatch Tower is a stone guard tower standing within the overrun stronghold of Stonewatch in northeastern Redridge. Once maintained by the defenders of Lakeshire, the outpost was captured by the Blackrock clan to monitor the surrounding ridges and secure their mountain bastion.

Built by the Kingdom of Stormwind to guard the high mountain passes above Lake Everstill, Stonewatch Tower served as the forward scouting sibling to Stonewatch Keep. From its elevated vantage point, sentries could easily watch the eastern ridges and alert Lakeshire to any threats advancing from the Burning Steppes. That early warning network collapsed when General Gath'Ilzogg's Blackrock orcs swept down from the heights, overrunning the human defenders and claiming the stronghold for their own war effort. Today, the tower bristles with Blackrock sentinels, ensuring no Alliance scouts approach the fortress undetected.
