Scarlet Monastery Graveyard

The Scarlet Monastery Graveyard is the burial wing of the grand religious complex in northeastern Tirisfal Glades. Once a serene resting place for Lordaeron's clergy and nobility, it has fallen into chilling neglect, overrun by lingering undead and the corrupted magic of the skeletal Bloodmage Thalnos.

A Defiled Sanctuary

Before the Third War, this cloistered cemetery served as the peaceful burial ground for the priesthood of Lordaeron. When the Scarlet Crusade fortified the monastery against the undead, their fanatical vigilance failed to cleanse their own crypts. Today, the Graveyard is neglected and deeply haunted. Lingering spirits, restless corpses, and shambling horrors wander the Chamber of Atonement and the mist-covered Forlorn Cloister. Rather than hallowed rest, the dead have found endless torment beneath the crusade's uncaring gaze.

Corruption from Within

At the rear of the grounds stands Honor's Tomb, where the greatest mockery of the Crusade's dogma festers: Bloodmage Thalnos. No record tells who he was in life, but the plague of undeath claimed him, and he rose as a skeletal horror wielding shadow bolts and fire. The crusaders above preach total extermination of the undead plague, yet they harbor a rotting, fallen sorcerer within their own consecrated soil.
