Forlorn Cloister
The Forlorn Cloister is the haunted graveyard wing of the Scarlet Monastery. Here, members of the Scarlet Crusade desperately torch the bodies of fallen brothers to prevent them from rising into undeath, while restless spirits and shambling corpses roam among the tombs.
A Consecration Consumed
Once a peaceful sanctuary where the priests and paladins of Lordaeron laid their honoured dead to rest, the Forlorn Cloister has become a grim charnel ground. Despite the Scarlet Crusade's fanatical vigilance, the taint of the plague has seeped deep into the earth. crusaders patrol the fog-shrouded cemetery with torches, frantically burning remains to stave off the rot. Even so, spectres glide between crypts and the dead pull free from their graves, ruled over by dark magic deep within the grounds.
The Master of the Tombs
Deep within the cloister lurks Bloodmage Thalnos, a skeletal sorcerer whose undeath embodies the tragedy of the Monastery. Hungering for vengeance, Thalnos wields dark magic, binding the souls of the deceased and slaughtering any who dare intrude upon his blighted graveyard.
