Ruins of Ravenwind
The Ruins of Ravenwind are the shattered remnants of an ancient Highborne city nestled in northern Feralas. Today, the crumbling marble structures are heavily infested by the vicious Northspring harpies and guarded by brooding dragonkin.
Echoes of the Highborne
Much like the great city of Dire Maul to the east, the Ruins of Ravenwind stand as a solemn monument to the height and hubris of ancient Highborne civilization before the Great Sundering. Long abandoned by its original kaldorei architects, the site has succumbed to creeping wild foliage, forgotten arcane altars, and the foul roosts of Northspring harpies who prey on anything wandering beneath the shattered arches.
A Confluence of Wild Dangers
Beyond the screeching harpies, Ravenwind is bordered by diverse and territorial threats. Fierce green dragonkin known as the Jaedemir circle the central groves and waterways, guarding ancient arboreal sites. Meanwhile, stray wanderers—from distracted night elf explorers to peculiar, solitary gnolls lingering nearby—frequently find themselves trapped in the crossfire of the ruins' lingering magics and wild predators.
