Northshire Valley

Tucked away in the northern mountains of Elwynn Forest, Northshire Valley serves as the peaceful cradle and training ground for the kingdom of Stormwind's newest defenders. Surrounded by natural barriers, it hosts the historic Northshire Abbey, fertile vineyards, and the rich Echo Ridge Mine. Despite its tranquil appearance, the valley faces mounting unrest from rogue bandits, infesting kobolds, and displaced predators.

Northshire Valley is framed by nearly impassable mountain ridges, with its only road heading south through a fortified gatehouse toward Goldshire and the rest of Elwynn Forest. A clear river winds through its pastures before feeding south into Crystal Lake. At the valley's heart stands Northshire Abbey, an ancient sanctuary where the Holy Light is taught and where recruits are trained by the Knights of the Silver Hand and seasoned veterans. Beyond the abbey walls lie the bountiful Northshire Vineyards and Echo Ridge Mine, forming a self-sustaining pocket of Stormwind territory that feels far removed from the wider world's wars.
