Northshire Vineyards

The Northshire Vineyards are cultivated grape fields lying just east of Northshire Abbey in the valley's sheltered basin. Though once a peaceful source of wine for the clerics, the fields have fallen under the control of the Defias Brotherhood and their local brigands.

Located east across the stream from Northshire Abbey, the Northshire Vineyards represent the valley's quiet agrarian life. The fields are tended by local workers like Milly Osworth, but rising civil unrest has left them unprotected. Bandits aligned with the Defias Brotherhood, led on the ground by a cutthroat named Garrick Padfoot, have seized the acreage. Rather than mere vandalism, the thieves occupy the fields to plunder the harvest and strip the local farmers of their livelihood, providing new recruits to the Brotherhood an easy foothold right under the abbey's nose.
