Northdale
Northdale is a ruined settlement nestled north of Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands, near the border of Quel'Thalas. Once a thriving northern township, it now lies broken and overrun by banshees, shadowy watchers, and corrupted elementals. It is most famous as the bitter crossroads where Taelan Fordring abandoned the Order of the Silver Hand to embrace the fanaticism of the Scarlet Crusade.
A Town of Sorrow
Situated along the hills north of Light's Hope Chapel, Northdale was once a peaceful community along the northern highway leading toward Quel'Thalas. The Third War left it in shattered ruins, its hearths cold and its population slain or driven out. Today, wailing banshees drift through the crumbling masonry, while invisible Eyeless Watchers lurk in the dark to survey the cursed roads. Even the nearby lake has succumbed to the plague, its waters bubbling with twisted, corrupted water elementals.
