North Gate Outpost

North Gate Outpost is a fortified dwarven camp situated high in the North Gate Pass of Dun Morogh. Manning the rugged route between Ironforge's snowy heartland and Loch Modan, its mountaineers guard travelers against the hostile wildlife that infests the crags.

Positioned in the middle of North Gate Pass, this small settlement serves as the northeastern threshold of Dun Morogh. Dwarven mountaineers stationed here keep the main roadway cleared of prowling beasts and monitor traffic heading through the mountain tunnels into Loch Modan. The harsh climate and steep ravines make patrol duty treacherous, and the garrison frequently calls upon travelers to scout the surrounding ridges for missing patrols and dangerous predators.
