North Coast

The North Coast is a bleak, fog-shrouded stretch of shoreline marking the northern edge of Tirisfal Glades along the Great Sea. Tainted by the fall of Lordaeron, the cold beaches are littered with rotting marine life and aggressively defended by tribes of hostile murlocs.

Before the Third War, these northern waters and stony beaches were part of the peaceful northern boundary of Lordaeron. When the Plague of Undeath swept across the continent, its corrupting blight seeped down the bluffs and poisoned the coast. The waters turned chill and murky, washing up the carcasses of giant sea creatures that now rot upon the sand amid the perennial coastal fog.
