Morlos'Aran
Morlos'Aran is an ancient night elf ruin nestled in the southern reaches of Felwood. Once a proud and thriving settlement before the Great Sundering, it now stands as a grim monument to a lost golden age, drowned under the demonic blight that plagues the surrounding forest.
Echoes of the Golden Age
Ten thousand years ago, prior to the Sundering, Morlos'Aran was a grand urban center of the ancient kaldorei civilization. Much like sister settlements such as Ameth'Aran, Bashal'Aran, and Ordil'Aran across northern Kalimdor, its marble arches and moonlit plazas bustled with elven life and arcana. When the Well of Eternity collapsed, the city broke, leaving only shattered colonnades behind as monuments to their civilization's zenith.
A Blighted Relic
While neighboring ruins in Darkshore and Ashenvale fell to decay and wilderness, Morlos'Aran met a far grimmer fate during the Third War. Positioned directly within the corridor trampled by the Burning Legion, its surviving foundations were choked by demonic corruption and toxic mire. Today, the ruins are haunted by wandering beasts, corrupted elementals, and remnants of the shadow forces lingering in Felwood.
