Lake Falathim

Lake Falathim is a tranquil body of water nestled in the forested hills of western Ashenvale, southwest of Maestra's Post. Revered for the constant touch of Elune's moonlight upon its surface day and night, it was once a beloved retreat for night elves. In recent days, however, aggressive murlocs have overrun its shores, turning a sacred haven into a perilous hazard.

Tucked away southeast of the Zoram Strand, Lake Falathim was long cherished by the Kaldorei as a peaceful sanctuary for swimming and fishing. According to local lore, the gentle radiance of Elune rests upon these waters at all hours, day or night. Despite this sacred blessing, ferocious murlocs have surged inland to seize the shores, nesting in thick numbers and driving away local travelers and scholars alike.
