Teronis' Corpse
Teronis' Corpse lies on a secluded island within Lake Falathim in western Ashenvale. Before his untimely demise, this night elf scout was dispatched from Astranaar on a crucial mission to recover Dartol's Rod to aid in cleansing the forest.
A Scout's Grim Fate
Sent forth by Raene Wolfrunner from the settlement of Astranaar, Teronis was tasked with recovering the lost rod of Dartol, an ancient night elf relic capable of purifying corrupted woodland magic. His search brought him deep into the waters of Lake Falathim, but the journey turned fatal when hostile murlocs swarmed the island. Teronis fell in battle, leaving his journal behind and the rod's radiant gemstone plundered by the lake's aggressive amphibians.
