Jansen Stead

Jansen Stead is the northernmost farmstead in Westfall, situated just down the road from the bridge to Elwynn Forest. Like much of the surrounding breadbasket, the homestead has fallen out of peasant hands and is swarming with rogue mechanical Harvest Watchers and roving Defias bandits.

Positioned right past the Elwynn border, the Jansen Stead represents the harsh reality greeting anyone traveling westward into Westfall. Once a flourishing family farm feeding the kingdom, its rightful occupants have been driven away by the rising tide of unrest. In their place, hostile Harvest Watchers—malfunctioning clockwork automatons reprogrammed by the Defias Brotherhood—patrol the blighted fields alongside brigands. Its proximity to the main road makes it a prominent early hazard for couriers and travelers moving between Goldshire and Sentinel Hill.
