Ironforge Airfield

Tucked away high in the snowy peaks northeast of Ironforge, this remote dwarven airstrip serves as a proving ground and staging area for gnome flying machines and dwarven mountaineers. Unmarked by main roads, the plateau overlooks the jagged crags of Dun Morogh and the steep descent toward the Wetlands.

Perched far above the beaten trails of Dun Morogh, the high-altitude airfield is a quiet marvel of Alliance cooperation. Sheltered by surrounding mountain peaks, dwarven masonry anchors the blustery ridgelines while gnomish flying machines sit parked along open landing strips. Mountaineers keep watch over the perimeter alongside engineers busy wrenching gears and inspecting steam-belching engines in the biting cold.
