Grom'gol Base Camp
Grom'gol Base Camp is the Horde's primary fortified outpost in Stranglethorn Vale, situated along the western coast of northern Stranglethorn. Commanded by Commander Aggro'gosh, the settlement secures a critical foothold and supply chain in the southern Eastern Kingdoms. With direct zeppelin towers linking to Orgrimmar and the Undercity, it stands as an armed staging ground against local jungle troll tribes and hostile Alliance forces.
A Bastion in the Jungle
Carved into the dense jungle of northwestern Stranglethorn Vale, Grom'gol Base Camp is a fortified military bastion commanded by Commander Aggro'gosh. Ringed by defensive palisades and heavily armed grunts, the base camp endures non-stop harassment from Bloodscalp headhunters, lurking naga, and prowling beasts. Despite these threats, its vital strategic location secures safe supply routes north toward Stonard in the Swamp of Sorrows while keeping a watchful eye on Alliance traffic descending from Duskwood or traveling up from Booty Bay.
Airbridge of the Horde
Grom'gol's prominent wooden zeppelin towers serve as one of the most vital logistical hubs in the Eastern Kingdoms. Goblin skycraft tethered here maintain regular routes directly to the capital cities of Orgrimmar and the Undercity. This uninterrupted airbridge allows Horde forces to rapidly deploy reinforcements and resources straight into the heart of Stranglethorn without braving Alliance-dominated highways or the deep sea.
