Balia'mah Ruins
The Balia'mah Ruins are the moss-covered remnants of an ancient Gurubashi settlement in northern Stranglethorn Vale. Located east of Grom'gol Base Camp across the river, the crumbling stone tiers are currently claimed and guarded by warriors of the hostile Skullsplitter troll tribe.
A Shattered Heritage
Like many of the stone edifices dotting the jungle, Balia'mah stands as a remnant of the sprawling Gurubashi Empire that once ruled much of the southern Eastern Kingdoms. Following the fall of their ancient capital, Gurubashi territory splintered into warring factions. Today, the ruins serve as a stronghold for the Skullsplitter tribe, who fiercely defend the stone terraces against wandering beasts, neighboring ogres from the Mosh'Ogg mound, and any outsiders foolish enough to cross the river.
