Mosh'Ogg Ogre Mound
The Mosh'Ogg Ogre Mound is a fortified cavern complex in northern Stranglethorn Vale, situated just south of the ruins of Zul'Gurub. It serves as the primary stronghold for the brute Mosh'Ogg tribe in the jungle, dominated by their ruthless ogre mage chieftain, Mai'Zoth.
A Den of Ogres
Carved into the rugged jungle ridges south of Zul'Gurub, the Mosh'Ogg Ogre Mound swarms with brutish Mosh'Ogg maulers, shamans, and warmongers. The ogres seized the cavernous network as an ideal redoubt against hostile jungle trolls and prowling beasts.
Mai'Zoth and the Mind's Eye
Deep within the twisting interior of the mound presides Mai'Zoth, the formidable two-headed ogre mage who commands the Mosh'Ogg clan. In his possession is the Mind's Eye, a potent and dangerous arcane relic that enhances his mental and sorcerous grip over his followers. Mai'Zoth's mastery over magic and raw brute force makes entering the deepest reaches of the mound a peril for any traveler braving northern Stranglethorn.
