Dreadmist Peak

Dreadmist Peak is a jagged, desolate mountain looming northwest of the Crossroads in the Barrens. Shrouded in an unnatural, crimson miasma, the peak serves as a secluded redoubt for the demonic cultists of the Burning Blade.

Rising high above the arid savannas of the Barrens, Dreadmist Peak stands out as a site of palpable evil. As travelers wind their way up the crags, the bright sky is blotted out by a dense, reddish haze—the residual miasma of an ancient demonic curse. At the mountain's crest and within its subterranean hollows, the Burning Blade cult operates in secret, harboring warlocks, toxicologists, and fiendish grellkin. From this vantage, the cultists spread poisons into the nearby water table and scheme against the nascent powers establishing control over central Kalimdor.
