Decrepit Ferry

The Decrepit Ferry is a ruined dock on the eastern shore of Silverpine Forest that once provided passage across Lordamere Lake to Fenris Isle. Following the fall of Lordaeron, the ferry was destroyed, its operator murdered, and the shoreline overrun by undead and vicious Rot Hide gnolls.

Before the Third War, this dock bustled with daily traffic across Lordamere Lake. Local farmers brought fresh produce down to the water, selling their crops directly to the wealthy lord of Fenris Isle and his household. For a modest fee, the ferryman carried trade goods, messengers, and visiting nobles back and forth between the mainland and the keep. That peaceful commerce ended abruptly when the Scourge swept through the kingdom. The ferryman was brutally killed, the boats were smashed, and the pier fell into decay.
