Fenris Isle

Fenris Isle is a large, mist-shrouded island in Lordamere Lake, bordering the eastern edge of Silverpine Forest. Once home to a bustling Lordaeron military stronghold, the island now lies under the iron grip of undead Rot Hide gnolls and a rogue Scourge necromancer.

Before the Third War devastated northern Lordaeron, Fenris Isle served as a vital outpost for the kingdom, anchored by Fenris Keep. When the Scourge tore through the realm, the garrison was slaughtered or fled into exile, leaving the island abandoned to the dead. In the years since, the island became a stronghold for the Rot Hide gnolls—vile, plague-ridden creatures who established a crude empire across the lake's shores. The Forsaken of Silverpine Forest keep a vigilant watch on the island, viewing its entrenched inhabitants as a severe threat to their northern territories.
