Rot Hide Ichor
Rot Hide Ichor is a foul bodily fluid harvested from the undead Rot Hide gnolls infesting Fenris Isle in Lordamere Lake. Apothecary Renferrel collects samples of the substance at the Sepulcher to uncover the origin of the gnolls' corruption and devise a strategy against them.
A Plague in the Blood
The Rot Hide gnolls of Fenris Isle are not ordinary wild beasts; they are visibly decomposed and twisted by unnatural blight. Rather than normal blood, their veins pump a noxious ichor that sustains their animated flesh. The Royal Apothecary Society suspects that this fluid holds the secret to how the pack was corrupted and who commands them from within the ruined keep of Fenris Isle.
Apothecary Research
Apothecary Renferrel gathers vials of this ichor to analyze its properties at the Sepulcher. By isolating the chemical and magical components fueling the gnolls, the Forsaken hope to pinpoint vulnerabilities before committing troops to a full-scale assault across Lordamere Lake.
