Charred Vale

The Charred Vale is a smoldering valley in southwestern Stonetalon Mountains, devastated by the reckless deforestation and machinery of the Venture Company. Once a thriving haven for treants and chimaeras, it is now engulfed in flames, roving elementals, and hostile harpies.

Not long ago, this southwest basin was a flourishing alpine wood guarded by majestic treants and inhabited by native chimaeras and harpies. Its ruin began with the arrival of the Venture Company. The greedy goblin outfit clear-cut the forest with explosive machinery, corrupting the guardians and awakening chaotic fire elementals. Though the treants eventually forced the goblins back, the land was left broken, scarred by fire, and tainted by whatever foul devices the retreating loggers deployed.
