Cauldron

Carved deep into the scorched earth of the Searing Gorge, the Cauldron was fortified following the catastrophic summoning of Ragnaros by Emperor Thaurissan. Massive, smoke-belching Dark Iron excavation machinery rims the canyon walls, scraping rock and ore from the smoldering stone. Down within its burning crevices, living fire and magma elementals prowl alongside Dark Iron taskmasters, while subterranean heat rises continuously from the depths of the mountain.

Deep within the pit, captured slave workers endure brutal, endless shifts under the lash of Dark Iron overseers. Broken by relentless labor, sweltering heat, and torment, many of these laborers have been driven completely mad. They no longer recognize friend from foe, lashing out violently against any outsiders who disturb their toil—even those who might otherwise offer them a chance at liberation.
