Brackenwall Village
Brackenwall Village is the primary Horde outpost in Dustwallow Marsh, nestled among the bogs in the northwest corner of the zone. Founded by surviving Stonemaul ogres after dragons devastated their original settlement to the south, the village serves as a tenuous stronghold surrounded by Alliance spies, deserters, and the black dragonflight.
Refuge of the Stonemaul
When black dragonkin drove the Stonemaul ogres out of their ancient home at Stonemaul Village in the southern marsh, their leader, Overlord Mok'Morokk—successor to Rexxar—led the survivors north into the swamp to build Brackenwall. Formed around traditional earthen mounds, huts, and an old watchtower, the settlement gave the battered clan a defensible haven. Though aligned with the Horde, the village suffers from internal rot: Mok'Morokk sits idle, hoarding supplies and refusing to confront the draconic threat, leaving the clan's spiritual and tactical guidance to figures like the ogre mage Draz'Zilb and Horde emissaries.
