Quagmire
The Quagmire comprises the sprawling, treacherous heart of central Dustwallow Marsh. Bound by Brackenwall Village to the north and the Dragonmurk to the south, its waterlogged flats are notoriously difficult to navigate. Hostile beasts and ravenous oozes make any journey through this central fen perilous.
Heart of the Fen
Occupying the wide expanse between Lost Point in the west and Dustwallow Bay in the east, the Quagmire represents the wild core of the marsh. Footing is unreliable at best, with solid earth constantly giving way to murky water and clinging mud. Travelers must contend with predatory crocolisks lurking beneath the scum, aggressive spiders nesting in the dead brush, and strange oozes that seep through the muck.
Encroaching Clashes
Beyond its natural hazards, the Quagmire serves as an unpredictable crossroads for the sentient powers contesting the swamp. Tucked away within the bog lies Tabetha's Farm, a lonely refuge for practitioners seeking hermit wisdom amid the dangers of the swamp.
