Bael Modan

Bael Modan is a fortified dwarven outpost and archaeological dig site located in the southern Barrens. Established by dwarven excavators searching for ancient Titan relics, the heavily armed installation has ignited a bitter conflict by displacing the indigenous Stonespire tauren.

Bael Modan consists of the fortified Bael'dun Keep, an array of massive siege cannons, gyrocopter landing pads, and a deep open excavation pit. Dwarven prospectors arrived in Kalimdor under the conviction that an ancient Titan facility rests buried beneath the red earth. However, their blasting operations ripped directly through sacred ground belonging to the Stonespire tauren. Rather than negotiating, the dwarven expedition drove the Stonespire off their ancestral lands with gunfire and explosives, leaving the surviving tribesmen scattered and vengeful.
