The Zhevra

The Zhevra is an early hunting trial issued by Sergra Darkthorn at the Crossroads. As part of a progressing test of martial prowess across the savannas of the Barrens, young hunters are charged with tracking down swift zhevra runners and taking their powerful hooves.

The zhevra, although not the fiercest beast in the Barrens, are a shade tougher than the plainstriders. Don't worry -- we'll send you against bigger prey in good time, but for now your teeth could use a little more cutting.

Hunt the zhevra to the north and south, and collect their hooves. Bring them to me and perhaps we'll next send you against something tougher.

Not bad, friend. Those zhevra hold a lot of strength in their legs. A sharp kick from them can knock even a tauren on its haunches!

It looks like you have some strength in you too. Are you ready for a real challenge?
