Prowler Claws

The tall grasses of the Barrens conceal Savannah Prowlers, large feline predators known for their patience, cunning, and lethal strikes. Hunting them is a vital proving ground for rising Horde warriors and scouts. Unlike herbivorous quarry like the plainstrider or the zhevra, prowlers actively ambush anything entering their hunting grounds. Taking their sharp, curved claws requires besting a creature that relies on absolute stealth and territorial aggression, proving to the camp's huntress that the stalker has become the prey.

At the Crossroads, Sergra Darkthorn demands these claws to measure an initiate's readiness for greater trials. Bringing back a handful of claws demonstrates that a hunter has mastered tracking among the golden savannah grass and can withstand claws capable of tearing leather and flesh. Those who return with their prize show they possess the awareness needed to survive even deadlier beasts lurking across the plains.
