Mankrik

While traveling through the scrublands of the Barrens, Mankrik and his wife Olgra were overrun by swarms of quilboar during a skirmish at a small tauren settlement. Separated in the chaos and frantic fighting, Mankrik watched Olgra disappear under a tide of tusks and thorn-woven weapons. Overwhelmed by fury, he fought recklessly until he was struck down unconscious. He survived only because a passing tauren druid discovered him bleeding out along the Gold Road and bound his injuries.

Recovering at the Crossroads, Mankrik found himself paralyzed by grief and an all-consuming bloodlust. Though local leaders like Thork warn that his blind hatred clouds his judgment and refuse to mount official war parties, Mankrik refuses to move on. Haunted by uncertainty over Olgra's fate, he enlists any willing Horde travelers to scour the Barrens for sign of his lost mate and to slaughter any quilboar that cross their path.
