Lord Maxwell Tyrosus
Lord Maxwell Tyrosus is the supreme commander of the Argent Dawn, stationed at their forward redoubt of Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands. A veteran paladin of the Silver Hand from the Third War, he guides the coalition's crusade against the Scourge and orchestrates strikes into blighted strongholds like Stratholme.
A Veteran of Lordaeron
Maxwell Tyrosus rode alongside Uther the Lightbringer during the catastrophic Third War, guarding the exits of Andorhal when the Scourge tore through the kingdom. After the fall of Lordaeron, he cast his lot with the Argent Dawn, an order that welcomes anyone willing to stand against the Scourge, in stark contrast to the human-only zealotry of the Scarlet Crusade.
Commander of the Dawn
Tyrosus now leads the Argent Dawn and oversees the defenses of Light's Hope Chapel. From his command post within the chapel, he oversees broad military operations across the Plaguelands, including tactical assaults led by Duke Nicholas Zverenhoff against Baron Rivendare inside the ruins of Stratholme.
