Bazil Thredd

Bazil Thredd is Edwin VanCleef's lieutenant and most trusted assistant, locked in the Stormwind Stockade since the Stonemasons' riots that killed Queen Tiffin. Now the prison has risen in revolt, and Thredd leads the rioting Defias inmates from its eastern cell block.

When the Stonemasons Guild was refused payment by the nobility of Stormwind for rebuilding the city, Edwin VanCleef rejected government appeasements and sparked open revolt. Bazil Thredd stood at VanCleef's side as his chief lieutenant and most trusted assistant. During the violent clashes that followed—which resulted in the death of Queen Tiffin Wrynn—Thredd was captured by the city guard. While VanCleef and the surviving masons fled into Westfall to form the Defias Brotherhood, Thredd was cast into the depths of the Stormwind Stockade.
