Baron Silverlaine

Baron Silverlaine was the rightful human lord of the fortress once known as Keep Silverlaine, perched high above Pyrewood Village. When Archmage Arugal unleashed the savage worgen upon the region, the baron and his household were mercilessly slaughtered. Now, his tormented spirit lingers in the ruined dining hall, bound in undeath to defend the very lair that became his tomb.

Before the shadow of the wolf-beasts blanketed the southern hills of Silverpine, Baron Silverlaine ruled over a proud noble estate. His fortress provided safety and oversight to the surrounding Gilnean lands. That peace shattered when Archmage Arugal, seeking a weapon against the rampaging Scourge, unleashed summoned worgen into the region. The feral monstrosities could not be controlled; they stormed the stronghold, overran its guards, and butchered the baron along with his entire family.
