Verdant Sigil
The Verdant Sigil is an inscribed druidic token presented to fledgling night elf druids beginning their training in Shadowglen. Carried as a summons from the druid mentor Mardant Strongoak, it marks a novice's formal entry into the Cenarion teachings under the branches of Aldrassil.
A Summons to the Path
In the sheltered boughs of Shadowglen, young night elves who feel the call of the wild receive the Verdant Sigil from Conservator Ilthalaine. Sent via messenger from the trainer Mardant Strongoak, the token directs novices to climb into the boughs of the great tree Aldrassil. Carrying the sigil serves as a formal invitation to leave basic chores behind and commence serious training in communion with nature spirits and the deep mysteries of the Emerald Dream.
The First Step Into the Dream
Presenting the sigil to Mardant Strongoak initiates the young druid into their lifelong craft. While novices are not yet prepared to walk the sleeping trance of the Emerald Dream, acknowledging the sigil marks the start of their mentorship. Under Mardant's instruction, initiates learn to interpret the whispers of the wilderness and master early shapeshifting and healing arts in service of Teldrassil.
