Twilight Pendant

Within the drowned ruins of Blackfathom Deeps, members of the Twilight's Hammer gather alongside the naga to conduct foul rites in veneration of the chaotic Old Gods. Cultists—ranging from shadowmages and aquamancers to reavers and loreseekers—wear these pendants as emblems of devotion to their shadowy patrons. Because the cult operates in secrecy beneath the former night elf temple, retrieving these ornaments is one of the few ways outside observers can gauge the cult's numbers and thwart their machinations.

Argent Guard Manados in Darnassus actively seeks these pendants as evidence of a successful purge against the encroaching darkness. Blackfathom Deeps once housed a pristine moonwell, and its desecration by malevolent void-worshipers poses a severe threat to Kalimdor. Gathering the pendants confirms that the cultists' foothold in Ashenvale is being dismantled before their dark patrons can unleash greater terror.
