Elune's Tear
Elune's Tear is a rare, luminous mineral found on the central island of Iris Lake in Ashenvale. Revering it as a sacred blessing of the Moon Goddess, night elf herbalists and healers seek the stone for its potent ability to cleanse magical corruption and deadly sickness.
A Sacred Cleansing Stone
Found secluded upon the small islet in Iris Lake east of Astranaar, Elune's Tear is a mystical stone believed to carry the purity of the Moon Goddess herself. The lake itself has not escaped the forest's corruption: its waters have turned a sickly green, and twisted bog beasts roam its shores. The stone is famous among local night elf herbalists and healers—such as Orendil Broadleaf—as an emergency remedy capable of washing away deep-seated corruption when ordinary woodland poultices fail.
