Brock's List
Brock's List is a dispatch compiled by the mining instructor Brock Stoneseeker in Thelsamar. It contains the names of top mining pupils who have earned honorary picks from the guild halls in Ironforge.
A Miner's Distinction
Mining is the lifeblood of dwarven civilization, and apprentice diggers must prove their skill before they are entrusted with serious work in Khaz Modan's veins. In Thelsamar, the local mining trainer compiles this parchment to reward students who excel in their lessons. The document records those who have earned honorary picks—coveted symbols of competence forged in the capital.
The Road to the Great Forge
Because the honorary tools must be etched and distributed from the capital, the parchment is entrusted to travelers bound for Ironforge. Carried aboard a gryphon from Thelsamar's roost, Brock's List makes its way directly to Golnir Bouldertoe at the Deep Mountain Mining Guild in the Great Forge, where the honored students' names are engraved into stone and steel.
