What do named guides say about which to buy?

HostedGG (verified October 3) says none of the packs is required to play: a subscription or Game Time covers launch. It calls the Heroic Pack "the floor" for the Skyborne or a reserved name, and says to skip the Collection if you already own Warcraft III: Reforged, because it then costs $20 more than the Epic Pack for housing decor and a campaign.

wow.gg, a fan-run site (September 16), says Heroic suits players who only want the race and its start, that Epic's 30 days of Game Time partly offsets its price, and that the Collection is mainly for Warcraft III fans because the rest is "purely cosmetic."

TimeSaver, a boosting service, likewise says launch-only players need nothing beyond their existing subscription or Game Time. HostedGG and TimeSaver agree no pack is needed to play; HostedGG and wow.gg both tie the Collection's worth to Warcraft III: Reforged. The Skyborne have their own pages: how to unlock Skyborne and Skyborne worth it.

What does the Collector's Edition include?

Blizzard's Collector's Edition announcement lists a 13-inch Dwarf and Bear statue, a Zephras Isle mousepad, art prints, collectible pins, a companion journal and a Warcraft Forever Collection code. It lists no price, says orders from the restock are expected to ship and arrive in February 2027, and limits one copy per household.

What is not confirmed yet

Blizzard's pre-purchase page lists no prices; every dollar and euro figure comes from outlets.
wow.gg lists two Invite-A-Friend codes for the Epic Pack where Blizzard says three in total.
Early name reservation ends November 3, 2026, so that benefit has days left.

If you buy for the Skyborne, the free Lore Forever add-on lists Zephras Isle among the places it covers.
