Wyrmbog
Wyrmbog is the perilous southern expanse of Dustwallow Marsh, lying just south of the Dragonmurk. Dominated by foul mire and jagged spires of stone, it serves as the staging ground and territorial buffer for the black dragonflight. The caves of ancient wyrms, including the broodmother Onyxia and the elder Emberstrife, are carved directly into its surrounding ridges.
Heart of the Brood
Wyrmbog represents the most heavily infested black dragon territory in southern Kalimdor. Where the open waters of Dustwallow give way to scorched muck and towering bones, whelps and mature drakes patrol the fetid air. The bog is choked with toxic fumes and predatory beasts driven wild by the draconic presence. Travelers foolish enough to wander into these reaches find themselves directly in the shadow of Onyxia's Lair and Emberstrife's cavernous den.
