Vul'Gol Ogre Mound

Vul'Gol Ogre Mound is a sunken basin in southern Duskwood overrun by the Splinter Fist ogres under the brute Zzarc'Vul. Once a cluster of human homesteads, its ruined farmhouses and subterranean cavern are now littered with the carcasses and scavenged plunder of the clan.

Tucked away in the shadows southwest of the fork heading toward Stranglethorn Vale, the Vul'Gol Ogre Mound serves as the seat of the Splinter Fist clan in Duskwood. The basin was once peaceful farmland, but its human inhabitants have long since fled or perished, leaving behind hollowed-out cabins now claimed by lumbering ogres and used as crude shelters. Inside the cavern beneath the rise, piles of slaughtered black bears attest to the clan's voracious appetite. Their chieftain, Zzarc'Vul, rules over the encampment, hoarding odd trinkets alongside mundane scavenged goods.
