Ogre's Monocle

While ogres are rarely renowned for refined scholarship, Zzarc'Vul somehow came into possession of an enormous monocle tailored to his massive stature. When the Darkshire resident Viktori Prism'Antras set out to build a stargazing instrument using blueprints drafted by the gnome engineer Cog, he found standard lenses far too small. Zzarc'Vul's eyewear proved to be the only piece of polished glass in the region with the curvature and size necessary to focus light through the completed device.

Acquiring the monocle requires braving the Vul'Gol Ogre Mound in the shadow of southern Duskwood. Zzarc'Vul resides among his brute brethren, showing little inclination to voluntarily part with his distinctive accessory. Claiming the lens means defeating the brute on his own territory before returning the glass to Darkshire so Viktori can finally turn his gaze to the night skies.
