Vile Reef
The Vile Reef is a submerged, vibrant coral shelf lying off the western coast of Stranglethorn Vale near Grom'gol Base Camp. Beneath its waters, aggressive murlocs make their home among ancient sunken troll ruins, giant clams, and coastal shipwrecks.
Sunken Stones and Coral Beds
Stretching beneath the waves of the Great Sea just offshore from Grom'gol Base Camp, the Vile Reef is known for its vivid marine growth and perilous inhabitants. The seabed is dotted with the weathered stonework of submerged troll ruins alongside the enigmatic Altar of the Tides. Flocks of territorial murlocs lurk among the coral shelves and shattered timbers of passing vessels, fiercely defending the shallow waters and preying upon any diver who braves the deep in search of giant clams and rare blue pearls.
