Southern Savage Coast
The Southern Savage Coast encompasses the long strand of beaches and tidal waters hugging southwestern Stranglethorn Vale. Flanked by the treacherous depths of the South Seas, these shores are home to prowling wildlife, hostile naga, and the ever-present threat of coastal raiders.
A Treacherous Shoreline
Stretching down the western edge of the southern jungle, the Southern Savage Coast marks where the mainland gives way to the warm currents of the South Seas. Divided from the northern Savage Coast by the submerged ruins and perils of the Vile Reef, this coastline skirts inlets near the Gurubashi Arena and Nek'mani Wellspring before tapering off past Booty Bay and Janeiro's Point. While the beaches offer open ground compared to the suffocating interior jungle, travelers must contend with aggressive reptilian predators, predatory naga hunting the shallows, and passing corsairs scanning the strand for easy prey.
