Wild Shore
The Wild Shore is the southernmost coastline of Stranglethorn Vale, where the jungle meets the waves of the South Seas. It serves as a staging ground and anchorage for the Bloodsail Buccaneers, whose ships lie moored along the shallows.
Edge of the South Seas
Stretching along the bottom tip of the continent, the Wild Shore marks the border where Stranglethorn Vale plunges into the South Seas. To the northwest lies the fortified inlet of Booty Bay, while a shallow ocean strait separates the mainland beach from Jaguero Isle to the east. The beach continues northeast toward the Crystal Shore. Because of its secluded position away from the Blackwater Raiders' direct cannons, the coast has become a hotbed of piratical activity and wild perils.
Pirates and Giants
The shore is heavily occupied by the Bloodsail Buccaneers, who anchor their wooden ships in the surf and pitch camps along the sand. These swashbucklers use the beaches to stage operations, store illicit cargo, and plan strikes against their goblin rivals. Travelers must also contend with natural hazards of the shore, including prowling beasts and Gorlash, a colossal sea giant who stomps through the surf, crushing anyone caught lingering along the tide line.
