Tyr's Hand

Tyr's Hand is a heavily fortified human stronghold situated in the southeastern hills of the Eastern Plaguelands. Long revered as an ancient holy site for the Church of the Holy Light, the city now serves as the primary regional bastion and supply hub for the zealous Scarlet Crusade.

A City of Churches

Perched defensively in what was once Lordaeron's green Eastweald, Tyr's Hand is one of humanity's most ancient sacred sites. The settlement became known as a 'city of churches' as shrines and holy structures were raised across its grounds. Unlike the blight-rotted ruins that litter the rest of the Plaguelands, Tyr's Hand remains remarkably preserved behind formidable masonry, thick walls, and the towering silhouette of the Scarlet Basilica.

Fortress of the Scarlet Crusade

When the Scourge swept through Lordaeron during the Third War, Lord Valdelmar kept the city standing through sheer military vigilance and faith. After the Knights of the Silver Hand shattered into rival factions, Tyr's Hand aligned firmly with the Crimson dawn of the Scarlet Crusade. Today, it operates as an impenetrable base of operations led by High General Brigitte Abbendis and Valdelmar. Elite crusaders train within its abbey, heavily guarded couriers maintain communication with scarlet forces holding Stratholme, and the city ruthlessly rebuffs all outsiders who approach its gates.
